Finance ministers of G7 countries announced after a meeting on Thursday their intentions to provide up to $32 billion in budget support to Ukraine.
If necessary, the amount may be increased, according to a joint statement, reports 'European Truth'.
'To underscore our unwavering commitment to supporting Ukraine along with the international community, we confirm today our collective approach to coordinated budgetary and economic support next year in line with the needs of the Ukrainian government: for 2023, we have already mobilized up to $32 billion in budget and economic support for Ukraine and continue to make further progress,' they note.

This includes an EU macro-financial assistance program worth 18 billion and budget assistance from the United States provided in the pending approval bill, as well as a World Bank loan backed by the UK.
'We are ready to do more if necessary regarding budgetary and economic support in addition to our military, humanitarian aid, development cooperation, and early recovery support. We also strongly encourage other donors to enhance their support,' the statement says.
In 2022, G7 raised $32.7 billion for Ukraine's budget needs.
The first tranche of 1 billion in macro-financial assistance was received by Ukraine in July. On September 7, the European Commission announced it would allocate 5 billion to Ukraine. Another 3 billion is expected by the end of this year, said Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
Since the onset of the full-scale Russian aggression against Ukraine, the state budget has received the most funds from Western partners.
