The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine has created an interactive map of charging stations for electric vehicles. Representatives of the ministry emphasized that this is an important step in the development of electric mobility aimed at strengthening energy security and reducing dependence on imported energy sources.
'Measures to promote electric mobility are defined, in particular, by the National Action Plan for Renewable Energy until 2030, the National Energy and Climate Plan, and the Sustainable Development Goals until 2030,' the Ministry of Energy explained.
The interactive map will facilitate the optimization of the development of electric charging infrastructure, particularly on highways, where a shortage of charging stations has been felt. The map was developed in collaboration with distribution system operators and electric mobility experts, and contains information about the most promising locations for new charging complexes.
The creation of an interactive map of charging stations is an important step in stimulating the development of electric mobility in Ukraine and preparing the country for integration with the European transport system. This project will enhance the convenience and safety of electric vehicle owners and promote the development of charging point infrastructure, which will help transition to a more environmentally friendly mode of transport.
