Average Salary in the IT Sector
According to data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine for December 2025, the IT sector continues to lead in salary levels across the country. The average salary in the information and telecommunications sector is UAH 65,047, which significantly exceeds the average salary level in Ukraine, which was UAH 27,500 in December.
Overall, the average salary in Ukraine is UAH 26,913, while in specific regions this amount varies. For example, in Kyiv, the average salary reaches UAH 40,738, in Luhansk region — UAH 30,675, and in Dnipropetrovsk region, it is UAH 27,892. This indicates significant regional differences in wage levels.
Salary Distribution by Specializations
In the IT sphere, there is also a significant salary distribution depending on specialization. The salary of a .NET developer is around UAH 92,500, which is one of the highest figures in the industry. Other professions, such as:
- marketing department head — UAH 80,000,
- backend developer — UAH 72,500,
- production preparation engineer — UAH 72,000,
- sales department head — UAH 70,000,
- DevOps engineers — salary ranges from UAH 56,000 to UAH 74,000, with over 9% of vacancies in this category offering salaries in the range of UAH 128,000 to UAH 200,000.
As for other specialties, the average salary for a QA Engineer in December is approximately UAH 34,000, with a range from UAH 28,000 to UAH 37,000 for most vacancies. However, offers for highly qualified QA Engineers start at UAH 82,000.
According to employers, the most sought-after fields in the job market in Ukraine remain:
