Expert Opinion on the Labor Market in Ukraine.
Social policy expert Andriy Pavlovskyi expressed his observations on the current state of the labor market in Ukraine. According to him, the situation in the country's labor market is experiencing an extraordinary crisis due to the consequences of the military conflict and socio-economic problems.
The National Institute for Strategic Studies reported that over 6.2 million citizens are unemployed, 7 million have emigrated abroad, and another 4 million have become internally displaced persons. These figures reflect the real fates of millions of people who have lost stability and confidence in the future.
Employment Problems and Social Inequalities.
Paradoxically, against the backdrop of high unemployment, many employers face a labor shortage. The workforce in the country has decreased, and the statistics do not reflect the true picture. Vulnerable groups of the population, such as women, veterans, pensioners, and persons with disabilities, suffer in this situation.
