The Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine is ready to assist citizens who have suffered from unlawful detention in Russia. They have proposed payments of 50 thousand hryvnias to those who became victims of this situation. This was announced by Deputy Minister Oleksiy Ryabikin during a press conference on the rights of released individuals.
'We must ensure a fair and systematic approach to supporting all citizens who have suffered as a result of deprivation of liberty due to the aggression of the Russian Federation, as well as strengthen state protection for everyone who has been persecuted by the aggressor,' emphasized Ryabikin.
Since the creation of the Commission, more than 3,700 applications for payment have been considered. More than 3,000 decisions on deprivation of liberty due to armed aggression against Ukraine have also been made. To receive assistance after release, it will be necessary to contact the Ministry of Development and submit the relevant documents.
