NATO's Psychological Support Project in the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The Armed Forces of Ukraine are actively implementing a project for psychological support and recovery of the combat readiness of military personnel through NATO's Human-Centric Approach Program within the Comprehensive Assistance Package for Ukraine, stated the General Staff.
This project aims to enhance the psychological readiness of Ukrainian military personnel for potential intense combat operations in case of a need to repel Russian aggression. The new phase of the project includes 280 training sessions for over 8400 defense forces personnel from August 2025 to December 2026.
'During the training sessions, participants acquire new knowledge and improve skills in providing first psychological aid and self-help in combat conditions, according to international standards and protocols,'
'This activity is carried out in collaboration with psychological support officers in the Armed Forces units,' the General Staff's message reads.
The message from the General Staff indicates the participation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the psychological support project through the NATO program. The measures are aimed at enhancing the readiness of the military for potential combat actions and providing them with the necessary skills when needed.
