Attacks on Fuel Stations and Infrastructure Across Ukraine
A Russian drone struck a gas station in the Poltava district overnight, leaving one person injured. This incident is part of a broader pattern of unmanned aerial vehicle attacks targeting critical infrastructure in Ukraine, raising concerns about civilian safety and economic stability.
Earlier in the morning, an enemy UAV landed on the grounds of an industrial facility in the Myrhorod district. While no injuries were reported at the site, the attack caused partial power outages for consumers in the Hadiatsk community.
“Specialists are already working to restore electricity supply,” said Vitaliy Dyakivnych.
Additional strikes hit gas stations in Zaporizhzhia on the night of June 27, in Sumy on June 26, and in the Zarichny district of Sumy on June 25, when the Russian army targeted a fuel station there. The June 25 attack injured four civilians. On June 24, Naftogaz gas stations in three regions came under fire, along with gas extraction facilities in the Poltava region, where one person sustained serious injuries.

These events highlight the ongoing Russian aggression against Ukrainian infrastructure, posing serious risks to civilian life. Strikes on critical facilities like gas stations and industrial plants can have severe consequences for the economy and daily operations. Repair crews working to restore power and address damage face significant challenges amid constant threats.
The recent attack on a gas station in the Poltava region is part of a worrying trend of assaults on energy infrastructure across Ukraine. This pattern of aggression not only endangers civilian lives but also disrupts essential services.
