The Norwegian Football Association plans to donate the proceeds from the match against Israel to support the residents of Gaza. This was announced by the association's president, Lise Klaveness. The game will take place on October 11.

«Neither we nor other organizations can remain indifferent to the humanitarian suffering and attacks that the civilian population in the Gaza Strip has been enduring for a long time. Israel participates in FIFA and UEFA competitions, and we must take this into account. But we want to donate the profits to a humanitarian organization that saves lives daily in the Gaza Strip and actively participates in providing emergency assistance on the ground», Klaveness emphasized.

Previously, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed the intention of the IDF to take full control of the Gaza Strip; however, he assured that there is no talk of a long-term occupation of the enclave - the goal is merely to eliminate the Hamas group and transfer the enclave to Arab control.

Plans for the Future and Regional Conflict

Netanyahu revealed the main principles, which he believes should end the war in Gaza and ensure the country's security. The Israeli army is preparing for a large-scale operation in the enclave, which involves moving residents from the north to the south of the city to strengthen control. These plans were supported by the Chief of Staff of the Israel Defense Forces, Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir. It is noteworthy that the Prime Minister accused the French President of fostering anti-Semitism by recognizing the Palestinian state.
