In March 2026, American reconstructive facial surgeons will arrive in Ukraine as part of the Face to Face project. This mission is already in its sixth iteration, in collaboration with AAFPRS, Razom for Ukraine, INgenius, and Healing the Children.
The main goal of the mission is to help people affected by the war to restore their appearance and boost their self-confidence. Both military personnel and civilians who have been harmed due to hostilities can apply.
'All surgeries for selected patients are conducted free of charge.'
Patients with facial paralysis following facial nerve injuries, loss of facial bone structures, eyelid injuries or orbital wall injuries, as well as facial tissue deformities, are invited to participate in the mission.
Applications can be submitted by phone: +38 093 781 4304
To register, scanned copies of medical prescriptions, photographs of the face, and results of CT or MRI studies must be sent. Doctors will thoroughly review all applications and inform about the selection results. Participation in the mission is free of charge.
