The Verkhovna Rada voted for a law that provides critically important enterprises the opportunity to reserve employees for 45 days even in cases where their military documents are incorrectly issued. This decision was supported by 272 lawmakers.
The new law stipulates that a reservation will be granted to all military service workers of critically important enterprises, as well as enterprises of the defense industry. This applies even to those employees who have missing or incorrectly issued military documents, or who are not registered for military service.
'This is a very important law that resolves many issues with reserving at critically important enterprises,' wrote MP Oleksiy Honcharenko.
Now, employees of such enterprises will have 45 days to correct their documents and meet all requirements while remaining protected from mobilization.
Amnesty for violators of mobilization legislation
It should be noted that in Ukraine, the deferment from mobilization for parents of many children is granted only with supporting documents and is not provided automatically – it must be arranged at local military recruitment offices.
Currently, the Verkhovna Rada is considering a draft law on 'amnesty' for violators of mobilization legislation, which will allow the reservation even of those employees of critical enterprises who are wanted or do not have the appropriate military documents.
