U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance stated that talks with the Iranian side in Islamabad concluded without an agreement to end the war. And I think that is much worse news for Iran than it is for the United States of America.'
Vance also emphasized that 'we have been quite accommodating.' He added: 'The President told us: you need to come here in good faith and make every effort to reach a deal. We did that, and unfortunately, we failed to make any progress.' The U.S. Vice President called for understanding, saying: 'We are leaving here with a very simple proposal, a method of understanding, which is our final and best offer. We will see if the Iranians accept it.'
