Zelensky signed a law on 50,000 for the birth of a child: all the details

President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a law that reforms the system of state support for Ukrainian families. The document provides for the payment of 50,000 hryvnias for the birth of a child and the introduction of new social programs. The law establishes a comprehensive system of financial assistance to families at various stages, starting from pregnancy and continuing until the child reaches school age. The one-time assistance upon the birth of a child will amount to 50,000 hryvnias, and monthly support will also be provided depending on the age and employment of the parents. Specific benefits are provided for children with disabilities and first-graders. The new social payments will come into effect in 2026.
