Ukrainians will meet the heating season in manual mode - such is the state of affairs in our country right now. It is no surprise that the situation in the frontline regions is critical. However, due to the warm weather, the country has so far avoided restrictions on heat supply. But experts are confident that Ukrainians will definitely not refuse heating restrictions, only the orders will come in endlessly.
The head of the Union of Consumers of Utility Services, Oleg Popenko, is outraged that they had to wait for the President's order at the beginning of the heating season. In his opinion, this indicates problems in local government bodies and the Cabinet of Ministers.
The worst heating situation has been recorded in the regions adjacent to the front line. Many cities there have problems with heat supply, and the heating system often simply does not work. Meanwhile, the authorities in Sumy and Zaporizhzhia have only started allocating funds for mobile boilers, although this need has been known for a long time.
Experts predict that the population of Ukraine will inevitably face restrictions on the thermal insulation of their homes, and even in warm weather, heating prices may not match the quality of services. The State Consumer Service reported that 93% of utility companies violate the rules for charging for services, and this is just the beginning of the problems.
