Corruption in the mobilization sphere in Ukraine has taken on a systemic character, and «services» for evasion have a clear price list. People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak voiced summarized data on the cost of such schemes based on investigations and materials from law enforcement agencies.
Corruption in TCC: how much illegal services cost
According to the deputy, prices for evasion from mobilization depend on the complexity and stage of passing the military-medical commission. The cheapest options start from several hundred dollars, while the maximum amounts can reach tens of thousands.
The most common «services» and their costs:
-
removal from search or updating data — from 300 dollars;
-
avoidance of receiving a summons — from 4,000 to 6,000 dollars;
-
fake employment for obtaining a deferment — up to 10,000 dollars;
-
removal from military registration — up to 20,000-25,000 dollars;
-
registration of unfitness or disability — up to 50,000 dollars.
As Zheleznyak notes, all this data is based on documented cases, not rumors.
Evasion from mobilization: how schemes work
A separate segment — illegal exit abroad. Journalists have recorded offers of such services even on social networks.
Among the main options:
-
«special flight» — transport across the border disguised as seriously ill for 10,000 dollars;
-
«green corridor» — illegal crossing outside checkpoints for 12,000 dollars;
-
«lifetime» removal from registration — from 9,000 dollars.
Payments usually occur through cryptocurrencies, complicating the tracking of transactions and providing no guarantees for clients.
Zheleznyak emphasizes that the issue of corruption in TCC is sensitive and is actively used in both domestic politics and information warfare. At the same time, he highlights the need for systemic changes: strengthening control, digitizing processes, and real punishment for the guilty.
According to him, it is transparency of procedures and minimization of the human factor that can reduce the scale of abuses in the mobilization sphere.
Earlier, Yaroslav Zheleznyak stated that after the war ends, Ukraine will face a severe labor shortage due to demographic losses and mass emigration. The solution to the problem may be the active involvement of retirees in the labor market.
