President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic stated that their country is ready to sell ammunition to the European Union due to large stockpiles. Vucic emphasized that the sales contract would be an important contribution to European security. Serbia actively cooperates with European countries in the military sphere and is ready for further cooperation.
'I do not want to be seen as someone who constantly supplies ammunition to warring parties, but there is a need for ammunition in Europe,' the Serbian leader explained.
Vucic also noted that Serbia remains militarily neutral, but is ready to cooperate with European armies and fulfill its obligations within the framework of European security.
Serbia is offering the European Union the sale of ammunition, which could be an important step in strengthening the continent's security. If a contract is concluded, the fate of these means could include their transfer to Ukraine, as well as expand Serbia's cooperation with European countries in the field of security.
