Ukrainians this year have had the opportunity to better plan their time, as the schedules for power outages have become more predictable. Journalist Iryna Polyakova provided four ways to find out about planned outages and prepare for them.
Four Ways to Check Your Turn for Outages
Method #1: Official Energy Company Websites
To check the outage schedules, you need to visit the website of your regional energy company, find the information section, and enter your address.
Method #2: Mobile Applications
Many energy companies have their own mobile apps with the option to subscribe to outage notifications.
Method #3: Chatbots on Telegram and Viber
Select your energy company's chatbot in the messenger and subscribe to it by providing your address or account number.
Method #4: 'Emergency Plan'
In cases where online services are unavailable, you can use the hotlines of the energy company, the government, and follow information from local authorities on Telegram.
Iryna Polyakova urged not to lose optimism and wished to avoid misunderstandings during outages. It is worth remembering that the Ministry of Energy has established 4 schedules for power outages.
