Starting from 2025, a new system for assessing the everyday functioning of individuals will be implemented in Ukraine. This means that experts will be able to determine disability status, select rehabilitation measures, and the scope of social support.
As reported by the Ministry of Health, the expert team's conclusion will become an official document based on which assistance can be obtained, an individual rehabilitation program can be started, and various services can be contacted.
Correction of deficiencies in documents
If technical or textual errors are found in the experts' conclusions, the person will have the opportunity to correct them.
A typo is a mechanical error that can occur when compiling text. Corrections are allowed for errors that affect the content of the document, for example, in the surname, date of birth, gender, address, and other mandatory details.
How to apply for corrections of inaccuracies
Individuals or their authorized representatives may write an application for correcting the conclusions. The application can be made in any written form and must include a brief description of the error that needs to be corrected.
The head of the medical institution will review the application and, accordingly, the expert team will make changes to the decision or inform about their decision.
In 2025, the Ukrainian system for assessing the functioning of individuals will come into effect, which will enable the determination of disability status, identification of rehabilitation and social support needs. It will also allow for the correction of errors in the expert team's decisions by submitting an application for correction. This law will provide individuals the opportunity to correct inaccuracies in conclusions, which can significantly ease their further life and interaction with assistance services.
