Starting in November, Ukrainians may notice changes in the system for submitting applications for deferrals from mobilization. Now, those subject to conscription will not be able to personally submit documents to the territorial recruitment centers.
According to the new rules, the opportunity to submit applications will be available through the 'Reserve+' app or through the Administrative Service Centers. The Ministry of Defense has urged citizens to use digital services for this purpose.
At the end of October, the transitional period will end, during which documents will be accepted under the old rules, - explains the Ministry of Defense.
These changes are being implemented as part of the digital transformation of the defense system to simplify and expedite the document submission process. The new procedure will also help alleviate the workload of the employees of the territorial recruitment centers and avoid queues and abuses.
Starting November 1, new rules for automatic extensions of deferrals for those subject to conscription, whose data can be verified through state registries, will also come into effect. This will simplify life for those entitled to a deferral and who do not require additional checks or visits to the territorial recruitment centers.
