Key Discussion Points
The conversation also addressed critical issues in building an evidence base regarding the Russian Federation’s armed aggression against Ukraine. Cooperation with U.S. partners encompasses:
- support in technical analysis of digital data
- extradition and location of individuals evading justice
Participants underscored the importance of joint operations, information sharing, and coordinated action in combating cybercrime.
Notably, Ukrainian prosecutors received official FBI departmental awards, recognizing their contributions to the fight against international cybercrime. This meeting marked another step in strengthening justice and security cooperation between Ukraine and the United States.
This engagement highlights the critical role of international collaboration in countering cybercrime, especially amid armed aggression. The FBI awards reflect the effectiveness of the prosecutors’ work and acknowledge their efforts toward shared goals. Enhanced Ukraine-U.S. cooperation in this domain can positively impact joint initiatives against cybercrime and the maintenance of law and order.
