Mandatory evacuation of children in Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia: who is affected

Екстрене переселення дітей у Дніпропетровській та Запорізькій областях: хто підпадає під евакуацію.

The Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine has approved the mandatory evacuation of children together with their parents or legal representatives from certain settlements in Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions. The decision was made after a meeting of the Coordination Headquarters for Evacuation and Response to Mass Population Movements, chaired by Deputy Minister Oleksii Riabikin.



It was also decided to evacuate those under care from institutional care facilities located about 50 kilometers from the front line in Zaporizhzhia region. The relocation will be carried out with adherence to necessary safety measures and medical requirements.



The issue of evacuation is under the personal control of Deputy Minister Tetiana Kyriienko.


Meeting participants also discussed the operation of transit centers for evacuated individuals. The opening of an additional center in Kharkiv region for people leaving dangerous areas is planned. The main goal of the decision is to ensure the safety of children and families living in areas with an increased risk of hostilities.


The Ministry of Community and Territorial Development approved the evacuation of children from Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions together with parents and legal representatives to ensure their safety due to the threat of hostilities. An additional transit center in Kharkiv region for individuals leaving dangerous areas is also planned.
