According to the Ministry of Energy, the reason for the introduction of emergency restrictions are the consequences of Russian attacks on Ukraine's energy system. In Chernihiv region, a special regime is in place with three schedules of hourly outages instead of emergency ones. Everywhere where the energy infrastructure has been damaged due to shelling, emergency recovery works are being carried out.
