The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, visited the Zaporizhzhia region, where he assessed the situation with the defense of the region and held meetings with the military. During his visit, he also plans to hold a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff and communicate with local officials.
The meeting with the commanders of the military brigades was quite productive, from where the President received detailed information about the situation and needs at the front. Tasks for strengthening the defense of the region have already been defined, and resources will be allocated for this purpose.
In addition, Zelensky met with the head of the regional military administration and visited a bomb shelter school in Zaporizhzhia, where children are studying in wartime conditions. The head of state emphasized the importance of protecting the country and Ukrainians from any threats.
