An Active Park will open in Borodyanka on the site of an experimental temporary park. It will be a modern place for sports, leisure, and entertainment for local residents.
The Ministry of Community and Territorial Development, along with the teams from Big City Lab, Urban Reform, and Street Culture, are involved in implementing this project. Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Kuleba emphasized that such parks contribute to the unification of communities and the development of frontline regions by creating a comfortable living environment.
'We are building not just a sports ground but a space for the entire community, for all age groups, with a strong focus on youth. The main heroes of this space are those who engage in sports. The park unites the community and promotes physical activity.'
The Active Park will be a place for various sports and a center for communication for all segments of the population. There will be a skate park, streetball and football courts, fitness areas, a children's playground, as well as public restrooms and a café.
The project will be implemented in two stages: first, the sports part and the central square will be equipped, and then the landscaping of the area around the lakes is planned.
The creation of the Active Park in Borodyanka will be an important step in improving the quality of life for local residents, promoting an active lifestyle, and fostering community unity.
