We remind you that Ukraine entered the top 10 of the overall medal standings of the European Youth Olympic Festival, taking 10th place. The Ukrainian team's assets include: 5 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze medals.
This is the second most programmed performance of Ukraine in the entire history of participation in the Festivals, starting from 1993! The 'blue-yellow' team won more medals only in 2019 – then there were 25 awards.
The most programmed sport
The most programmed sport was judo – our athletes won six medals, including bronze in the mixed team tournament on the final competition day.
In addition to judo, medals for Ukraine were won by representatives of sports such as swimming (2 gold, 2 silver, and bronze), athletics (gold, silver, and 2 bronzes), taekwondo (2 silver and bronze), shooting (silver and bronze), artistic gymnastics (silver and bronze), and table tennis (bronze).

On the last day of competitions, the Ukrainian team won another award – a bronze. It was awarded to Mykola Rushchak from Sumy in the 20-kilometer race walk.
Ukraine took 14th place in the overall medal standings. Overall, our athletes won 12 medals: 4 gold, 3 silver, and 5 bronze.
