The Ministry of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine is actively cooperating with German partners on the Green Recovery Platform, as agreed during the meeting with representatives from BMUKN, Germany.
This involves a nationwide approach to addressing issues related to 'green' recovery and launching pilot projects.
Key Components of Recovery
Deputy Minister Marina Denysiuk emphasized three key components of green recovery:
- Innovative technologies and climate-oriented standards.
- Flexible financing mechanisms, including PPP.
- Accelerating procedures and close coordination with international partners.
Project Requirements
Pilot projects must be carefully developed and have a clear financial model. After evaluation, they may be considered for further scaling. The Ukrainian side emphasizes the PPP model as a priority mechanism for attracting investments.
The Ministry of Development has included public investment projects for 2026 in the Unified Project Portfolio (UPP-2026), which German partners can review through the DREAM platform.
After the meeting with representatives from BMUKN, Germany, the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine is actively working on plans for green recovery, focusing on key components and requirements for pilot projects in the field of 'green' investments.
