Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported on his meeting with his American counterpart Donald Trump, which took place for the second time in two days. This meeting was aimed at discussing important issues related to Ukraine's security and energy.
“I just spoke with U.S. President Donald Trump, already for the second time in two days, and today it was also a very productive conversation,” Zelensky emphasized.
Zelensky also noted that issues regarding national defense and increasing government efficiency were discussed during the meeting. Energy was also an important topic.
Moreover, the Ukrainian leader emphasized that President Trump is fully informed about the situation in Ukraine. “President Trump is well aware of all aspects of the internal situation,” he noted.
After the conversation, the parties agreed on plans to continue the dialogue at the working group level. “We reached an agreement on further discussions, and our teams are already preparing for this,” Zelensky informed.
