The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting of the 'Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff' during which a decision was made to enhance the protection of frontline and border regions. The main focus was on strengthening air defense and developing the drone component of the armed forces.

Military commanders, intelligence representatives, and heads of regional administrations from eight regions that are under the greatest threat, namely: Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kherson, participated in the meeting. The President announced the preparation of special decisions for these territories.

'They are essentially conducting a safari on people and training drone operators at the expense of killing Ukrainians on the streets, on the roads,' Zelensky stated, describing the actions of Russian units in cities that are within reach of enemy strikes.

According to the head of state, the forces of unmanned systems will receive more resources and will be deployed more actively. As of December 1, an electronic point system for evacuating the wounded via ground robotic complexes and other uses of UAVs by combat units will be launched. Brigades will receive direct funding for purchasing drones and components.

Ukraine is actively cooperating with partners to ensure security and defense capability. Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and the Baltic states have allocated 500 million dollars to the PURL program. A 'historic agreement' with France is also being prepared.

Further preparations for Ukraine include signing an agreement with Greece regarding gas supplies, cooperation with European countries to ensure gas for the winter and in the future, as well as an audit of state-owned companies with subsequent submission of results to law enforcement agencies.
