According to glavcom.ua: New details have emerged regarding Angelina Jolie's visit to Ukraine. The charity organization Legacy Of War Foundation released an official press release about the actress's trip to our country. This information was provided by Hlavkom.

According to the press release, Angelina Jolie visited southern Ukraine, specifically Mykolaiv and Kherson. The Hollywood star met with volunteers, local residents, and medical staff who, despite the constant drone attacks and the threat of shelling and mines, continue their lives in the cities, the foundation reports.

«She saw how in some parts of the city nets were set up over the streets to protect them from drones,» they said at the Legacy Of War Foundation. The press release also noted that educational and medical services had been moved to shelters to enable safe treatment and learning.

The actress added that the residents of Kherson and Mykolaiv belong to those communities experiencing «prolonged conflict around the world, including the civilian population in Sudan, Gaza, and DR Congo.»

During Angelina Jolie's trip, she visited Kherson and met with children. News about her visit to Ukraine is being shared on social media, showing Angelina's interactions with young Ukrainians.

Shortly before the actress's arrival in Ukraine, it became known that she did not inform anyone about her visit. After journalists informed about this, officials reported an incident with the TCC (interpretation, movement, control) at one of the checkpoints when the actress's bodyguards encountered military enlistment officers.
