According to Федерація Легкої Атлетики: At night, Cherkasy was attacked by Russian drones. As a result of the shelling, the only sports athletic arena in the region, as well as private houses and cars, were damaged.
Fortunately, there are no casualties. Due to the damage to the sports infrastructure, the All-Ukrainian athletics competition 'Memorial of the Hero of the U.S.S.R. O. V. Tkanko', scheduled for December 19-20, has been canceled.
The attack on Cherkasy by Russian drones caused damage to the sports athletic arena and the cancellation of the planned athletics competitions in the region.
