According to glavcom.ua: On the night of November 1, a fire occurred at a gas extraction facility in Poltava district due to an enemy attack. This was reported by
"Glavkom" referring to the State Emergency Service in Poltava region.
According to the State Emergency Service, the fire was successfully contained.
"A total of 22 vehicles and 93 rescuers were involved in extinguishing the fire. The fire was completely extinguished at 06:02," the agency's statement said.
Drone strike on Novhorod-Siverskyi
Fortunately, there were no reports of casualties from the attack. Rescuers continue to work in an enhanced mode for prompt response to the consequences of enemy shelling.
It was reported that on the night of November 1, the terrorist army of Russia struck the central square of Novhorod-Siverskyi in Chernihiv region with drones. This was reported by the head of the Novhorod-Siverskyi district military administration, Oleksandr Seliverstov, as transmitted by "Glavkom".
Seliverstov stated that the occupiers attacked Novhorod-Siverskyi with two strike drones, resulting in injuries in the central square of the city.
The fire at the gas extraction facility in Poltava district and the drone strike on Novhorod-Siverskyi are further examples of the escalation of the conflict in eastern Ukraine. These incidents indicate the intensification of hostile actions and the need for support and protection of the civilian population in wartime.
