Attack on Volyn and Odesa

According to Главком: On December 26, Russian terrorists attacked Volyn and Odesa, causing damage to Lviv Railway facilities at Kovel station, as well as critical infrastructure in the region. The head of the Volyn Regional Military Administration, Ivan Rudnytskyi, confirmed the information about the shelling, noting that important facilities were damaged as a result of the drone attack.

At Kovel station, a locomotive and a freight car were damaged. The shockwave that occurred during the attack shattered windows in the locomotive depot workshop. Additionally, as a result of the shelling, the following were also affected:

• elevators;
• warehouses of civilian enterprises;
• barges and vessels in Odesa.

This situation raises concerns regarding risks to the transport infrastructure and security in the region.
