'How have you held up all this time?' - the journalist asked. The father replied: 'It's hard. I thought a lot about this all these days. Why did he die? I was looking for reasons because... He was a unique person... He, being a strong person, did not offend a little child.'

Volodymyr Parubiy added: 'He lived not for himself, not for his family. I have long said that he is no longer just my son, he is the son of all of us. He did nothing for himself, for the family. He did everything for the state.'

The father emphasizes that Andriy had security in 2020 due to received threats. Although there was a threat to his life, he was not afraid and did not back down. Andriy Parubiy was on the list of individuals that Russia planned to eliminate after the aggression in Ukraine.
