The vaccination will be free for the specified age group. The HPV vaccine was purchased in July 2025, and the first batch of vaccines will be delivered to the regions of Ukraine in December 2025. The remaining vaccines are planned to be distributed in the summer of 2026, which will ensure access to vaccination for all girls in the age group.
Advantages of the nine-valent vaccine
As part of the vaccination program, a nine-valent HPV vaccine will be used. This initiative aims to improve the level of disease prevention related to the virus and promote the health of the younger generation.
The implementation of free HPV vaccination is noted as an important step in the healthcare system of Ukraine. It will not only help reduce the risk of cervical cancer but also contribute to the overall increase in awareness about the prevention of diseases related to the human papillomavirus. Ensuring the availability of vaccines for youth is an important step in forming a healthy society and reducing future medical costs.
