The Syzran oil refinery is one of the largest in the 'Rosneft' system and produces fuel for southern Volga regions. The enterprise supplies fuel to Samara, Saratov, Penza regions and partially to central regions of Russia. In the event of a shutdown or severe damage to the plant, the region may face a fuel shortage problem.

Drones attacked the oil refinery in the city of Syzran in the Samara region of Russia on the night of August 15. According to a report from 'Glavkom', citing Exilenova+, explosions and hits occurred as a result of the attack on the refinery.

Drone attacks continue in Russia. On the night of August 3, oil refineries in Adler and Kstovo were attacked. For the second night in a row, explosions and fires engulfed cities such as Kstovo, Sochi, and Voronezh. The refinery in Kstovo was targeted in the attack, while an oil depot in Adler in Sochi was attacked, resulting in a large fire.

In the city of Penza, strikes were made on enterprises that are important for the defense sector, such as the JSC 'Production Association 'Electropribor' and 'Radiozavod', which produce equipment for military control systems and armaments.

Several oil refineries in Russia have been attacked by drones, causing serious consequences in the country's oil industry and posing a threat of potential fuel shortages in some regions.
