Ukrainian Veronika Matyunina won bronze at the youth world championship in table tennis

Ukrainian athlete Veronika Matyunina became the bronze medalist of the world championship in table tennis among juniors and cadets! In the competition, which took place from November 24 to December 1 in the Romanian city of Cluj-Napoca, she competed in the U19 doubles category alongside Ghana Goda from Egypt.

Their performance recorded the following results:

• 1/16 finals - victory over the athletes from Puerto Rico with a score of 3:1
• 1/8 finals - a tough victory over the French duo 3:2
• Semi-final - defeat against the team from Germany and Ireland with a score of 1:3 (5:11, 13:15, 13:11, 11:13)

Thus, the Ukrainian-Egyptian pair won third place in the tournament! hanaaymangoda
