World Athletics Indoor Championships Set for Toruń

According to Главком: The city of Toruń, Poland, will host the World Athletics Indoor Championships from March 20 to 22, 2026. A team of five Ukrainian athletes will compete for their nation in three disciplines: the men's and women's high jump, and the men's 60-meter hurdles. This event is a major fixture on the global athletics calendar, drawing the world's top track and field stars.

Competition will take place at the Kujawsko-Pomorska Arena in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship. World Athletics Council approved Toruń as the host city on March 22, 2023. This marks Poland's second time organizing this event, following the 2014 championships in Sopot. The same arena previously hosted the European Athletics Indoor Championships in 2021.
