Ukraine U-20 team announced squad for the 2025 World Cup in Chile: full list of players
The head coach of the Ukraine U-20 youth national team, Dmytro Mykhailenko, presented the squad of the team that will participate in the World Cup in Chile. 21 players from 18 clubs have been included.
Goalkeepers: 1. Stanislav Vanivskyi («Stal» Rzeszów, Poland), 12. Vladyslav Krapyvtsov («Girona», Spain), 16. Markiyan Bakus (LNZ Cherkasy).
Defenders: 3. Kyrylo Dihtiar, 13. Daniel Vernatthus (both – «Metalist» Kharkiv), 4. Mykola Kyrychok («Karpaty» Lviv), 5. Vladyslav Kysil («Ponferradina», Spain), 6. Maksym Melnychenko («Polissya» Zhytomyr), 17. Maksym Derkach («Tukums 2000», Latvia), 20. Oleksii Husiev («Kudrivka»).
Midfielders: 10. Hennadiy Synchuk («Montreal», Canada), 11. Danylo Krevsun («Borussia» D, Germany), 7. Artur Shakh («Karpaty» Lviv), 18. Bohdan Budko (AZ, Netherlands), 8. The team has departed for Chile, where they will play a friendly match against Australia on September 21. The 2025 World Cup will take place in five cities in Chile from September 27 to October 19.

The Ukraine national team drew with Azerbaijan in the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, and their next match will be against Iceland. Earlier, the Ukrainian team lost to France in the qualifying match for the 2026 World Cup.
During the match Ukraine - France, Ukrainian fans supported their team by displaying a banner with the inscription «Fortress of Europe».
The Ukraine U-20 team has headed to the World Cup in Chile and is already preparing for their opening match against South Korea. Ukraine is in a tough Group B, but has every chance to showcase its football potential in the tournament.
