The draw for the Round of 16 of the Ukrainian Cup took place

Today, August 28, the draw for the Round of 16 of the Ukrainian Cup took place at the House of Football. The event was attended by the representative of the 92nd brigade Oleg Vasylenko and sports journalist Vitaliy Volochai.The participants of the competition at this stage were the teams that passed the Round of 32, as well as four Ukrainian clubs from the European Cups - 'Dynamo', 'Shakhtar', 'Polissya' and 'Oleksandriya'.

According to glavcom.ua: In these matches, the home teams will play first. The games will be held in a single-match format, and in case of a draw in regular time, a penalty shootout will be immediately assigned.

Moreover, the head coach of the Ukraine national team Serhiy Rebrov has already decided on the list of players who will prepare for the qualifying matches of the World Cup against France (September 5, Wrocław, 21:45) and Azerbaijan (September 9, Baku, 19:00).

During the draw for the Round of 16 of the Ukrainian Cup, pairs of teams that will compete for victory were determined. Matches at this stage will take place in a single-match format, with the possibility of a penalty shootout in case of a draw. At the same time, the coach of the Ukraine national team has already identified the players who will prepare for important matches in the World Cup qualifying tournament.
