Digital Transport Card "Sich Zahallna" for Zaporizhzhia: how to issue and how to pay
In Zaporizhzhia, a digital transport card "Sich Zahallna" has been introduced, which allows you to pay for travel in public transport directly from your smartphone. Payment is made through the EasyPay application, without cash and paper tickets. This is reported by Zaporizhzhia City Council.
The cost of the digital card is 60 hryvnias, and the registration takes a few minutes. The innovation is valid for buses, trolleybuses, and trams operating in the urban transport system. The electronic ticket is activated after payment and is valid for 75 minutes, allowing transfers without additional costs.
How to issue a transport card
To purchase "Sich Zahallna" in digital format, you need to perform a few simple steps:
Open the EasyPay application and select the city of Zaporizhzhia.
In the "Transport" section, click on the "Zahallna" item.
Confirm the purchase - the card will become active immediately.
How to pay for a trip by phone
To pay, simply scan the QR code in the vehicle’s interior with your phone’s camera or a scanner in the app. Then select the appropriate card and confirm the payment. The ticket is valid from the moment of purchase, allowing the passenger to freely transfer to other routes within the allocated time.
Users who have a physical card can digitize it - add it to the app and use their smartphone instead of the plastic card. The balance can be topped up without a fee - through the app, website, or at over a hundred EasyPay terminals throughout the city.
The introduction of the digital transport card is another step towards the full digitalization of public transport in Zaporizhzhia. It simplifies the payment process, reduces the use of cash, and improves passenger flow accounting. The city authorities note that such a system is not only convenient for residents but also makes transport more modern and transparent.
