According to the Deutsche Bank report, rental prices in the centers of European cities continue to rise. Only in five European cities does the average cost of renting a three-room apartment amount to less than 2000 euros.
According to Eurostat data, housing prices have increased by 27.3% from the first quarter of 2020 to the first quarter of 2025, while rental prices have risen by 12.5% from June 2020 to June 2025. The highest rental prices are observed in London, Zurich, Geneva, and other European cities.
From 2020 to 2025, the rent for a three-room apartment in the centers of European cities has increased, for example, by 206% in Istanbul and by 3% in Helsinki. The largest increase in rental prices has been observed in Southern and Eastern Europe.
According to the Deutsche Bank report, rental prices in the centers of European cities continue to rise, while rental prices have increased by 12.5% from June 2020 to June 2025. During this period, there has been a significant increase in the cost of renting housing in various European cities, especially in Southern and Eastern Europe.
