Fuel Prices Hold Steady in Ukraine Despite Global Oil Surge

Oil prices increased, but fuel prices stable
Ціни на паливо в Україні залишаються стабільними, незважаючи на зростання вартості нафти в світі.

Current Fuel Price Situation in Ukraine

According to Главком: As of March 10, 2026, fuel station networks in Ukraine have not increased their prices. The average cost of A-95 gasoline remains 69.76 UAH per liter, while diesel fuel (DP) averages 74.13 UAH per liter. The government continues to develop support models for consumers amidst rising global oil costs. This stability is crucial for the national economy, which remains sensitive to energy price fluctuations.

Deputy Minister of Economy Taras Vysotskyi noted that fuel expenses account for roughly 10–15% of the production cost structure for agricultural goods. He stated that even if fuel prices rise, the cost of products from the agricultural sector is unlikely to increase by more than 1–2%.

Global Oil Price Trends

It is important to highlight that global oil prices have seen a significant spike. For the first time since 2022, the price of oil has surpassed the $100 per barrel mark. As of Sunday evening, futures for U.S. crude oil jumped by 14.7%, while the price of Brent crude reached $104.

The table below lists fuel prices at various station networks:

  • UPG: A95 - 68.90 UAH, A95+ - 71.90 UAH, DP - 74.40 UAH, DP+ - 77.40 UAH, A100 - 78.90 UAH, Gas - 40.00 UAH.
  • OKKO: A95 - 70.99 UAH, A95+ - 73.99 UAH, DP - 75.99 UAH, DP+ - 78.99 UAH, A100 - 80.99 UAH, Gas - 41.99 UAH.
  • WOG: A95 - 70.99 UAH, A95+ - 80.99 UAH, DP - 75.99 UAH, DP+ - 78.99 UAH, A100 - 80.99 UAH, Gas - 41.98 UAH.
  • KLO: A95 - 70.49 UAH, A95+ - 74.89 UAH, DP - 76.59 UAH, A92 - 69.49 UAH, Gas - 42.60 UAH.
  • SOCAR: A95 - 70.99 UAH, A95+ - 74.99 UAH, DP - 75.99 UAH, DP+ - 78.99 UAH, A100 - 80.99 UAH, Gas - 41.98 UAH.
  • Ukrnafta: A95 - 68.99 UAH, A95+ - 71.99 UAH, DP - 69.99 UAH, A92 - 65.99 UAH, Gas - 40.99 UAH.
  • BRSM: A95 - 66.99 UAH, DP - 69.99 UAH, Gas - 38.49 UAH.

Consequently, the domestic fuel market remains stable despite the surge in global oil prices.

The sustained stability of Ukrainian fuel prices, contrary to global upward trends, is likely a result of state price control policies and consumer support measures. This is particularly significant for the agricultural sector, where fuel constitutes a major component of production costs. Ongoing monitoring of energy resource prices and their impact on inflation remains a key priority for the country's economic policy.
