Incident Involving Derek Egan

According to Главком: A man named Derek Egan broke into Kensington Palace, where Prince William and Kate Middleton reside, twice. Arrested for these actions, Egan admitted his guilt; however, Judge Sam Goozy warned of the likelihood of a prison sentence. Due to the risk, the judge denied him bail, noting that if found guilty, there is a real threat of imprisonment.

Derek Egan carried out his break-ins on December 21 and 23, with a large backpack. After the first arrest, he was released on bail, but during a second attempt to break in, he was taken into custody. During the court hearing, Egan behaved aggressively, threatening to smash the fence, which raised additional concerns among law enforcement. At the time of his break-ins, Prince William and Kate Middleton were not at the palace, which houses about ten members of the royal family and staff.

Security Situation

Additionally, it is noted that recently, 20-year-old Rosie Rush, the sister of Princes William and Harry, was found dead from a gunshot wound. It is also reported that Prince William visited the Tapa training area in Estonia, located 120 km from the border with the Russian Federation. Egan's case is still under consideration, and court decisions could have serious consequences for his future life.

This incident highlights the growing security issues surrounding members of the royal family, especially in light of recent tragic events related to their family. The break-in at the palace raises concerns about the protection of not only Prince William and Kate Middleton but also other members of the royal family. The situation may prompt a review of security measures at royal residences to prevent similar incidents in the future.
