Man Uses AI to Automate Flirting, Garners Over a Million Views
New Frontiers in Content Creation
According to НВ — Техно: Content creator Ben Gaz leveraged OpenClaw, an AI agent, along with the Claude Code tool to automate his search for romantic connections. After each match of the FIFA World Cup, he posted videos following a set template. The strategy paid off quickly: within days, his clips racked up more than one million views and 200 comments.
After every game, Claude generates and publishes nearly identical videos using the same template. In these clips, Gaz appears gazing sadly out a window, accompanied by a caption offering emotional support for local women if their national team lost. He posted the same message over a dozen times, swapping only the country name.
Comments and AI Risks
Reflecting on his approach, Gaz remarked:
'I think it’s crazy-the potential right now is just insane. I’m not sure everyone will think it’s good, but, you know, it works.' - Ben Gaz
Gaz isn’t the only one using OpenClaw. Jeff Weisbein, founder of a tech-focused PR firm, has tasked OpenClaw with scouting date spots across different neighborhoods in South Florida. Still, Weisbein noted he wouldn’t trust AI to actually communicate with women.
Lazer Cohen, co-founder of NanoClaw-a safety-focused alternative-warns about privacy risks tied to such technologies. He stated:
'We’ve all heard stories about OpenClaw creating dating profiles for people without their knowledge or consent.' - Lazer Cohen
Cohen also stressed that users must retain the right to approve actions before granting an agent access to personal information and accounts.
The use of artificial intelligence in social interactions and communications raises ethical and safety concerns. Technologies like OpenClaw can unlock new automation possibilities, but they also create risks related to privacy and data misuse. It’s crucial for users to stay aware of these dangers and approach such tools responsibly in their daily lives.
As the use of AI in personal interactions grows, concerns about privacy and ethical implications are becoming increasingly relevant. For instance, the recent discussion surrounding the need for tighter regulations on intimate deepfakes highlights the potential risks associated with such technologies.
