According to hvylya.net: A joint operation by the police sharply uncovered a corruption scheme at the border. Law enforcement officers detained criminals who demanded money for the illegal crossing of the border. They now face serious punishment under Ukrainian legislation.
'The dealers valued their assistance in smuggling over the state border at 18 thousand US dollars. After payment, they promised to seat the client in a car with officers of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, who were allegedly to transport him across the border to Moldova without obstruction.'
Workers were caught red-handed while accepting 10 thousand dollars, imitating a border crossing. They are now accused of illegal border crossing, which is punishable under Ukrainian law.
The border inspection is wary of similar cases and is taking measures to ensure the security of our state against corruption.
