The Deputy of the Odesa Regional Council to be Tried for Failing to Declare 58 Million
Declaration of False Information
According to САП: On August 20, 2026, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) and the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) submitted an indictment to the court regarding the deputy of the Odesa Regional Council of the VIII convocation. The deputy is accused of failing to declare financial obligations for the years 2024 and 2025. In particular, this involves several loans totaling over 58 million UAH.
The information about the failure to declare financial obligations has been confirmed by the materials of the National Agency for Prevention of Corruption (NAPC). The actions of the deputy are qualified under part 2 of Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. According to part 1 of Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a guilty verdict of the court.
