Parking revenues increased by a quarter: which regions lead in revenues

Growth of parking revenues in Ukraine

Parking revenues in Ukraine showed significant growth from January to October 2023. Local budgets received 174.4 million UAH from parking fees, which is 23.8% more than the same period last year, when the amount was 140.9 million UAH.

Currently, there are 679 business entities operating parking services in Ukraine. In particular, among regions leading in revenue from fees, the largest amount was received by:

• Odesa region - 62.6 million UAH;
• Lviv region - 47 million UAH;
• Dnipropetrovsk region - 43 million UAH;
• Ivano-Frankivsk region - 7.2 million UAH.

Thus, Odesa, Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions have become leaders in the payment of the parking fee, demonstrating positive dynamics in this area.

Development prospects

The increase in parking fee revenues may indicate an improvement in the economic situation in the country, as well as an increase in public awareness regarding the importance of tax payment. Considering the growing number of business entities engaged in organizing parking, further development of this area and an increase in revenues to local budgets can be expected in the future.
