Hearn stated that no agreements are currently finalized, clarifying that any discussions took place before a serious car accident involving Joshua. The original plan was for Joshua to face American YouTuber Jake Paul in December 2025 and, following a victory, to then stage a bout in Saudi Arabia before a potential clash with Fury.
