Eco-friendly and Profitable: Ancient Salt Deposit Prepared for Launch

In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, plans are underway to restore salt mining, which is one of the oldest deposits in Ukraine. The mayor of the Dolyna territorial community, Ivan Dyryv, reported that the salt plant in Dolyna was once one of the largest in the city, and work is currently ongoing on the development of a project for a new factory. The company 'Planet Comfort' from Kharkiv has already received special permission for salt extraction.

Experts from the State Research and Project Institute of Basic Chemistry 'NIOKHIM' are working on developing a project solution for the future salt plant.

Currently, an environmental impact assessment is being conducted to ensure compliance with environmental standards during the restoration of salt mining in the region.

The return to salt mining in the Ivano-Frankivsk region is an important step in the development of local industry. It will create new jobs, restore the historical tradition of salt mining in the region, and contribute to the economic growth of the area.
