According to glavcom.ua: Sergey Yuran, former player of Kyiv's 'Dynamo' and now coach of the Turkish club 'Serik Belediyespor', expressed his disappointment with the attitude towards veterans in Russian football. According to Yuran, such great players as Kir'yakov, Kolivanov, and Kanchelskis do not receive due recognition in Russia, and their experience remains unaccounted for.
'I have said this many times. We need to have self-respect... Why this is happening is a question not for me,' noted Sergey Yuran.
Additionally, the material mentioned Mirra Andreeva, a Russian tennis player who supports the pro-Putin organization 'People's Front', which has been sanctioned for supporting Russian occupiers and conducting propaganda events. Also among her acquaintances in the organization are athletes Anton Yendzhiyevsky and Nikolai Olyunin.
