Ecuadorian Himenes-Bravo on Ukraine: why he stayed here forever

Ukraine has won the heart of the famous chef and host of the MasterChef program, Hektor Jimenez-Bravo. He mentioned that moving from Russia to Ukraine was a natural step for him, as it was here that he felt the special friendliness and warm atmosphere that he had missed so much in Russia.

In 2005, Hektor first visited Ukraine while in Russia. The beauty of Kyiv, in contrast to the gray Saint Petersburg, impressed him so much that in 2009 he signed a contract in Kyiv and stayed here, finally finding what he had been searching for so long.

I realized how different Ukrainians are from Russians. In Russia, I did not have such deep and friendly relationships. Ukrainians are just a different level of people.

Now Hektor Jimenez-Bravo has Ukrainian citizenship, which is a testament to his feelings for the country where he found himself. He is now back in his Colombia, but Ukraine will always remain in his heart.

Better late than never: the MasterChef chef discovered the beauty and compassion of Ukraine, even obtaining Ukrainian citizenship.
